The opportunity
We need a QA Engineer who will own the quality of every release that reaches our customers. In this fully remote contract role you will shape how new features are validated, keep our existing products stable, and help us deliver a smooth experience to the people who trust us with their devices. Your work sits at the heart of our product lifecycle, turning requirements into confidence that what ships is reliable and user-friendly.
A day in the life
- You craft clear test plans from feature requirements and acceptance criteria, then execute manual tests on new enhancements and run regression checks across the full application.
- You collaborate closely with engineers to investigate and resolve any issues uncovered during testing, ensuring fixes are solid before code reaches production.
- You lead smoke testing after each deployment, confirming everything works as expected so our customers enjoy uninterrupted service.
Who you are
You bring at least three years of hands-on software testing experience, including functional, regression, and end-to-end user acceptance testing of web applications. You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and you are fluent in English. You are comfortable working inside the Atlassian suite, writing thorough documentation that captures test results, and you have already written automated tests with Cypress. Bonus points if you have worked in insurtech or know your way around continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
