QA Engineer at SAS LA COMPAGNIE DES ANIMAUX

We are Santévet, the leading provider of pet health insurance in France and Belgium, with a growing presence across Spain, Italy, and Germany. With a team of 450 professionals across Europe, we provide comprehensive care for pets, supporting renowned brands like Santévet, Jim & Joe, and Bulle Bleue. We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in our centrally located, accessible Barcelona office on a full-time, on-site basis.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall quality of our products by identifying, analyzing, and reporting anomalies.
• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks and tools.
• Empower our teams to execute reliable front-end and back-end tests.
• Define comprehensive testing strategies and ensure high-quality test data coverage.
• Integrate quality practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and ensure the continuous, optimal performance of our software.
• Coach and guide teams to adopt better quality practices tailored to our specific context.
• Manage data sets and promote a quality-first culture across the organization.

Must-haves

• At least 5 years of professional experience in QA automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern automation tools, specifically Cypress or Playwright.
• Proven ability to define and implement testing strategies across multiple projects.
• Experience mentoring or leading QA initiatives within engineering teams.
• Fluency in English.
• A proactive, adaptable, and curious mindset with excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with mobile testing.
• ISTQB Test Automation certification.
