Lightci is looking for a QA Engineer
Welcome to Lightci. Since our founding in 2022, we have established ourselves as a comprehensive product design and development consulting partner. We assist organizations of every size in building robust software, navigating digital transformations, utilizing data effectively, and establishing world-class engineering teams. We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join us on a remote contract basis and help us elevate our quality standards.
What you'll be doing
- You will design, build, and maintain automated test scripts by leveraging Playwright and TypeScript.
- You will implement and refine test automation frameworks to boost the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our delivery cycles.
- You will partner directly with our product and development teams to translate project requirements into comprehensive, high-impact test strategies.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running. You should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance.
- Solid proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for the purpose of test automation.
- Practical experience with Playwright and a strong understanding of CI/CD workflows, specifically GitHub Actions.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with our global stakeholders.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Appium or have utilized LLMs to generate detailed test plans.
