QA Engineer at Seso Inc.,

Seso is modernizing the agricultural back-office by building a premier platform that helps farmers manage their workforce, automate H-2A visas, and improve the lives of agricultural workers. We have raised over $60 million from top investors like Index, Founders Fund, and Bond, and we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our fully remote team and help us maintain the highest quality standards for our software.

Responsibilities

• Review technical documents, functional specifications, and test cases to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Create detailed, structured test plans that align with our project goals.
• Collaborate with developers to identify automation opportunities and integrate these processes into our feature releases.
• Perform thorough testing on new features, while tracking and troubleshooting bugs until they are resolved.
• Advocate for quality across the organization and partner with team leads to reduce manual testing efforts.

Must-haves

• Extensive experience with software QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Strong technical proficiency in Git, AWS, and UNIX environments.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including SSO, OWASP, SSL, and identity management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with JavaScript-based testing frameworks.
• Specific experience testing applications built with ReactJS.
• Familiarity with Cypress for automated testing.
• Experience with third-party system integrations or analytic tools like Retool.
