As an early member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in refining our infrastructure and ensuring our tools are ready for the next phase of our growth.
About the Role
We are hiring a QA Engineer for a full time, hybrid position. In this role, you will act as the bridge between engineering and trading. You will be responsible for testing early versions of our internal tools to ensure they remain stable and robust. We need someone who can approach technical challenges with the mindset of a trader while utilizing the precision of a software engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain manual test scripts for our internal software products.
- Develop demo strategies to be utilized within our dedicated testing environment.
- Build automated tests and CI/CD pipelines to improve the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our cloud-based microservices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working with JavaScript, C#, Java, C++, or Python.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with SQL.
- Practical knowledge of sockets and basic networking concepts such as telnet or the Chrome Debug Console.
- Hands-on experience using Unix command line tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, including relational databases, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- A positive, solution-oriented mindset when facing new technical challenges.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in C#, experience analyzing large datasets, familiarity with equity trading, and experience with cloud computing platforms.
Location
This position is based in Dorado, Puerto Rico, and follows a hybrid work model.
