QA Engineer at Vic.ai

At Vic.ai we are building the future of Intelligent Accounting. Our AI platform automates accounts payable, payments, expense management, and financial workflows, processing hundreds of millions of invoices each year so finance teams can work with greater accuracy and real-time insight. We are now looking for a Junior QA Engineer who is excited to combine test automation with thoughtful manual testing while helping us deliver reliable AI-powered software at scale.

What you'll be doing

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites that cover web applications, APIs, and backend services, then integrate those tests into our CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing when it offers the fastest path to validating new features or investigating issues, documenting defects clearly so the team can resolve them quickly.
• Experiment with AI-assisted tools to speed up test creation, analyze defects, and uncover quality insights, while contributing ideas that improve how we test in an AI-driven environment.

What you'll bring

You have one to three years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or testing and feel comfortable switching between automated and manual approaches. You already know how to write and run tests for web applications and APIs, and you understand agile development practices. Strong problem-solving skills and clear written and spoken English help you collaborate effectively with engineers and product teams. Experience with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, plus familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, is a plus, as is any previous work with CI/CD pipelines or AI-powered products.
