A new space race is unfolding, and at True Anomaly, we are building the technology to ensure space remains a secure and sustainable environment for everyone. Our mission is to protect the vital systems that keep our world running, from global communications to logistics, by creating innovative solutions at the intersection of AI, spacecraft, and software. We believe in creating asymmetric advantages through ingenuity and challenging the status quo to deliver ambitious results. Our team is our greatest asset, and we are looking for people who thrive on collaboration and want to solve the next generation of engineering challenges.
The opportunity
We are searching for a dedicated QA Engineer to join us in a full-time, remote capacity. Software acts as the central nervous system for our operations, bridging the gap between complex military objectives and the autonomous control of spacecraft. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our core platform, Mosaic, is reliable, performant, and capable of meeting the rigorous demands of space operations. You do not need a background in aerospace to succeed here, as we value the diverse perspectives you bring to our mission of satellite and constellation management.
A day in the life
- Collaborate directly with our product and engineering teams to verify the functionality and performance of the Mosaic platform.
- Work across various disciplines, including flight software and guidance systems, to validate the end-to-end reliability of our integrated hardware and software.
- Execute complex scenarios and load testing to push our systems to their limits, providing the insights necessary to help Mosaic reach new heights.
Who you are
You are a mid-level engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. You possess a strong technical understanding of distributed systems and have a track record of building or contributing to testing frameworks. We are looking for someone who embraces a fast, safe approach to development and has an interest in or experience with Chaos Engineering. Proficiency in English is required, and while not mandatory, experience with Elixir, C++, or testing for multiplayer gaming environments would make you an excellent fit. Please note that to comply with U.S. government export regulations, you must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
Why you'll love it here
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $140,000. Beyond the numbers, we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family, including remote work flexibility and a 401k plan. You will have the chance to own challenging, greenfield problems that directly impact the future of space security, all while working with a team that values your unique background and contributions.
