QA Engineer at Cascade Financial Services

We’re Cascade Financial Services, a trusted lender since 1999 that helps families achieve home ownership with mortgage solutions built for the manufactured-housing market. Our IT team keeps the technology behind those services reliable, secure, and easy to use, and we’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help us maintain that standard.

What is this role?

This is a full-time, senior-level QA Engineer position. The work is performed in a hybrid arrangement within the United States, and the primary language of the team is English.

What will you do?

• Work side-by-side with product managers, developers, and business analysts to turn requirements into clear test plans, scenarios, and cases that cover both manual and automated checks.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts in Selenium, WebDriverIO, and BrowserStack, then run and monitor those suites to catch issues early and share actionable results with the wider team.
• Carry out functional, regression, and exploratory testing, document defects precisely, and support production releases by executing smoke tests that confirm everything is stable before customers see it.

What makes you a great fit?

You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field-or you bring equivalent hands-on experience. You have at least five years of software-quality-assurance work that includes both manual and automated testing, and you are comfortable with Agile and Scrum practices. You write clean test plans and cases, and you can translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical colleagues. Your scripting skills cover JavaScript, Java, or Python, and you understand .NET and JavaScript-based applications well enough to read and work with their code structure. You know how to run cross-browser and cross-platform tests, and you keep security considerations in mind throughout the testing process. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication round out the profile we need.
