What is this role?

We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our team as a contractor. Based in the Netherlands, this role operates in a hybrid work environment. You will act as the primary advocate for quality throughout the entire product lifecycle, working alongside our engineers, product managers, and technical leads to ensure we release software that is both resilient and highly valuable.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with product teams to establish clear acceptance criteria and determine the necessary test coverage for new features.
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies that effectively balance automated testing with manual testing efforts.
• Contribute directly to our CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure while proactively identifying quality risks to help the team prioritize their work.

What makes you a great fit?

You should have at least two years of experience in quality engineering or software testing, ideally within cross-functional product teams. We value candidates who understand how to integrate quality checks early in the development process rather than treating testing as an afterthought. You should be comfortable with automated testing practices and modern software development workflows. Since you will be working in an international environment, proficiency in English is essential. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, structured, and possesses a curious mindset, always keeping the customer's perspective at the forefront of every decision.
