About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our payment software. You will work across our entire technical stack, which includes Ruby on Rails, Preact, Swift, and Kotlin, while leveraging tools like Playwright and Jira. This is a remote, location-neutral position that offers you the chance to influence our testing strategy and contribute to a culture that values quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual and automated tests to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify potential risks early and implement effective testing approaches.
- Lead our transition toward an organization that prioritizes automated testing while mentoring other team members on best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in QA and software testing.
- Proven experience with automated testing using multiple tools.
- A strong desire to build and maintain automated test scripts.
- The ability to balance a perfectionist mindset with the pragmatic needs of a high-stakes transaction processing environment.
- Experience working in high-trust, high-ownership settings where accuracy is paramount.

Compensation and Benefits
