The role

We are searching for a QA CoE Lead Performance Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position based in the United States, requiring an individual who can provide hands-on leadership and governance for our outsourced performance testing teams. You will be instrumental in driving our long-term testing strategy while working closely with internal support teams to optimize our core business applications.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and implementation of new performance testing tools to ensure they align with our technical environment and business goals.
• Facilitate the triage of performance defects by analyzing complex metrics and logs to identify root causes and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish effective resource allocation models and project schedules for all performance testing engagements.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should be proficient in English and possess a deep understanding of the following areas:

• Extensive experience in Performance Testing and QA methodologies.
• Proven ability in Triage, including the analysis of logs and performance metrics.
• Strong background in Resource Allocation and managing outsourced testing teams.
• Experience in reviewing and enforcing testing standards, as well as mentoring junior team members.
