QA Automation Engineer at Gogolook

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Taiwan on a full-time, hybrid basis to help us maintain the highest standards of security and reliability across our suite of products.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive quality assurance for both front-end and back-end systems by developing detailed test plans, cases, and reports.
• Propose and execute innovative testing solutions across teams with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable outcomes.
• Design and perform API, UI, performance, and data testing to ensure system stability.
• Build custom testing tools to improve overall team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with team members and provide mentorship to help the group reach critical project milestones.

Must-haves

• At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software QA or as an SDET.
• Strong proficiency in Python or other relevant programming languages.
• Practical experience with automation scripting for API and UI testing.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience testing web applications, mobile apps, and server environments.
• A willingness to perform manual testing when the situation requires it.
• The ability to partner effectively with product managers and developers to identify and mitigate release risks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing scalable, maintainable automated testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in performance testing and conducting mock data testing.
• Background in testing Machine Learning or Big Data systems.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as pytest, Appium, or Robot Framework.
• A track record of working with B2B clients or international teams.
• Intermediate English proficiency for reading technical documentation and communicating project requirements.
