Python Team Leader at Tylko

We are looking for a dedicated Python Team Leader to join our Backoffice Engineering Team. Our group is the engine behind the scenes, creating internal tools and automations that keep our logistics, accounting, customer support, and business intelligence departments running smoothly. What you'll be doing

• You will contribute hands-on to coding using Python, Django, and the Django REST Framework while overseeing high-level system design.
• You will lead and mentor a focused team of three developers and one QA professional to ensure high-quality output.
• You will partner with business stakeholders and the Head of Engineering to translate complex needs into technical strategy and automated solutions for our core operations.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in backend development and a passion for team leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Backend Developer with deep expertise in Python and Django.
• Proven experience leading technical teams, ideally within a fast-paced or scaling environment.
• Strong hands-on familiarity with Django REST Framework and Celery.
• The ability to bridge the gap between technical architecture and business goals through excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in Polish and a solid command of English.
• The ability to work from our Warsaw office in a hybrid capacity, three days per week.
