Intropic is looking for a Python Engineer
We are a fast-growing fintech startup backed by top-tier venture capitalists, dedicated to helping people harness the true power of information. Our software suite is already making waves in the finance and capital markets, and we are now looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to define project scopes and translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain our suite of products by writing clean, well-tested, and production-ready Python code.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including developing REST APIs, building data pipelines, and deploying infrastructure using AWS and Docker.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Python, specifically using tools like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and NumPy.
- Deep knowledge of SQL, including schema design and performance tuning, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
- Proven ability to manage AWS cloud deployments, including networking, security, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong familiarity with Docker, terraform, and modern software development practices like automated testing.
- Experience working with financial data, traditional statistical models, and transformer LLMs.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-driven approach to learning and working across different disciplines.
