Python Engineer at Intropic

Our software suite is already making waves in the finance and capital markets, and we are now looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to define project scopes and translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain our suite of products by writing clean, well-tested, and production-ready Python code.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including developing REST APIs, building data pipelines, and deploying infrastructure using AWS and Docker.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Python, specifically using tools like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and NumPy.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, including schema design and performance tuning, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to manage AWS cloud deployments, including networking, security, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong familiarity with Docker, terraform, and modern software development practices like automated testing.
• Experience working with financial data, traditional statistical models, and transformer LLMs.
• Excellent communication skills and a self-driven approach to learning and working across different disciplines.
