The role

We are looking for a Senior Python Django Backend Engineer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. This is a leadership-oriented position where you will work directly with our founders and product team to drive the evolution of our platform. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our services, ensuring our architecture remains scalable, efficient, and capable of meeting the complex needs of our airline partners.

Core responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy innovative features that enhance our existing web-based platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our mobile development teams to ensure our backend services perfectly align with the requirements of our Android and iOS applications.
• Maintain technical excellence by exploring new solutions, improving current processes, and utilizing AWS with automated CI pipelines.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in backend engineering and a deep understanding of the following:

• Expertise in Python and the Django framework.
• Proven ability to build and maintain high-quality RESTful APIs.
• Experience working within AWS environments and managing automated deployment workflows.
• The ability to work autonomously and lead technical initiatives within a modern stack.
• Fluency in English and French to facilitate clear communication across our international team.
