Our mission centers on our specialized continuous delivery pipeline, which allows us to release new features, bug fixes, and configuration changes into production safely and sustainably. By joining our team of 30 professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring our ecosystem remains fast, secure, and reliable for all our users.

What you bring

In this contractor role, you will work remotely from anywhere to support our ongoing development efforts. You will collaborate closely with our product owner and technical lead to expand the functionality of our internal platform. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing new features within the existing Edison squad.
• Utilizing your expertise in Python and automated testing to maintain high code quality.
• Managing cloud infrastructure and services to ensure our continuous delivery pipeline remains efficient.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with medium to extensive experience in Python who is comfortable working in a distributed, remote environment. You should have a strong grasp of Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of AWS services, including ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Events, and Lambda. While not strictly required, familiarity with Terraform, PHP, and Drupal will be considered a significant asset. You must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in English to ensure our team stays aligned.
