We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our Edison team. Our group of 30 professionals is dedicated to maintaining and expanding our custom continuous delivery pipeline, which allows us to deploy updates to our web publishing platform safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our existing squad to develop new features and enhance functionality.
- Work closely with our product owner and technical lead to meet project goals.
- Implement and maintain robust automated testing practices within our Python environment.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services to ensure our deployment ecosystem remains stable and scalable.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
Must-haves
- Extensive professional experience working with Python.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and Events.
- A solid background in Agile methodologies.
- The ability to thrive in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed team members.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Working knowledge of PHP and Drupal.
