We leverage advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence to process hundreds of millions of data points daily, helping organizations with workforce planning, strategic skills analysis, and location optimization. We are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer with a data engineering focus to join our remote team and help shape the future of our analytics platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct scalable, robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Parse job postings and online data to fuel our HR Analytics Platform and Market Intelligence projects.
- Manage and maintain data warehouses using technologies like Redshift and PostgreSQL.
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to ensure high data quality and consistency across our systems.
- Collaborate with engineering peers to build efficient, reliable, and performant infrastructure.
- Write clean, well-documented Python code and develop RESTful APIs to provide seamless data access.
- Troubleshoot data-related challenges and stay current with emerging trends in data engineering.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience specifically in Python data engineering.
- Proven ability to build pipelines using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and SQL.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Proficiency working within our tech stack, including Kafka, JupyterHub, and Ray.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
