Python Developer / Data Engineer at TransMarket Group

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer and Data Engineer to join us on-site in the United States to help us reach our next level of potential.

What you'll be doing

• You will maintain and improve our non-latency systems and data mart, working closely with departments such as finance, risk, accounting, and operations to meet key business objectives.
• You will build and support software solutions designed to provide deep, actionable insights into our firm's daily operations.
• You will act as a bridge between various internal teams to gather requirements and deliver on ad hoc reporting requests while strengthening our surveillance and alerting infrastructure.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for data. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in Python, with additional experience in Pandas being highly beneficial.
• A solid grasp of SQL for database support and design.
• Experience with RESTful API design and a strong understanding of data structures.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and Git for version control.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data mining, and dashboard design or data visualization.
• The ability to work on-site, as this is a full-time, in-office position.
• Fluency in English.
