We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer to join our team in Canada on a full-time, hybrid basis to help us transform everyday travel into something extraordinary.
Key outcomes
- Contribute to the development of stable, scalable, and well-tested software solutions.
- Design and implement new features, applications, and system integrations.
- Build and maintain robust distributed systems that support our growing product needs.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, utilizing data-driven insights to guide development.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Extensive expertise in Python development.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record in designing, developing, and testing scalable distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a high level of empathy.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Fluency in English and French.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Heroku, GCP, or Azure.
- Background in product-driven and data-driven software development.
