We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer to join our team in Canada on a full-time, hybrid basis to help us transform everyday travel into something extraordinary.

Key outcomes

• Contribute to the development of stable, scalable, and well-tested software solutions.
• Design and implement new features, applications, and system integrations.
• Build and maintain robust distributed systems that support our growing product needs.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Extensive expertise in Python development.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Proven track record in designing, developing, and testing scalable distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a high level of empathy.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Fluency in English and French.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Heroku, GCP, or Azure.
• Background in product-driven and data-driven software development.
