Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Python Back-End Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role based at our offices in London. You will be working in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to contribute to products that are already in the hands of early adopters.

Your impact

• You will collaborate closely with product managers, research analysts, and fellow engineers to define project scopes and translate requirements into reality.
• You will be responsible for maintaining, extending, and improving our existing suite of products while writing clean, well-tested, and production-ready Python code.
• You will design and build robust REST APIs, data processing pipelines, and internal libraries, while also managing the deployment and monitoring of our production systems.

What you'll need

• Expertise in Python, specifically with tools like asyncio, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, NumPy, and Pandas.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, including schema design and performance tuning, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployments, Docker, Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices.
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with financial data, traditional statistical models, or transformer LLMs is highly valued.
• Fluency in English is required for this role.
