What you bring

We are seeking a Senior-level PyData Maintainer to join us on a Full Time basis. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world. As a maintainer, you will play a vital role in the health and growth of our core software packages. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Advancing existing open-source projects while exploring adjacent initiatives that align with your unique talents.
• Engaging directly with clients across government, industry, and academic sectors to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Collaborating with, mentoring, and learning alongside a talented, distributed team of experts.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone who is already deeply invested in the PyData ecosystem and possesses a blend of technical expertise and community spirit. You should be comfortable with Open Source development and have a strong foundation in Data Science and Python. We place a high value on Community Engagement, Project Management, and clear Communication. Proficiency in English is required, and we look for individuals who are humble, curious, and eager to foster inclusive collaboration.
