We are looking for a data-savvy Public Relations Associate to help amplify our global voice and share our industry-leading insights. At AirDNA, we provide the data and tools necessary for hosts and real estate firms to make informed decisions in the short-term rental market, and you will play a key role in telling that story to the world.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to global media inquiries with speed and professional polish.
- Build, maintain, and update targeted media lists across various industries and regions.
- Track and analyze press performance, including coverage, sentiment, and share of voice.
- Pitch our unique data-driven insights to local, vertical-specific, and Tier 2/3 media outlets.
- Transform complex data sets into compelling, media-friendly narratives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and bloggers.
- Support event logistics, including messaging, booth coordination, and pre-event communications.
- Create press kits, media alerts, and regular coverage summaries.
- Collaborate with our product and marketing teams to support company announcements and launches.
- Contribute to special PR initiatives, including partnerships and podcast opportunities.
Must-haves
- At least 2 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, media, or PR.
- Full proficiency in English.
- Strong writing and research skills, with a proven ability to explain data clearly.
- Demonstrated success in pitching media and securing coverage.
- Working knowledge of PR platforms such as Cision, Meltwater, or Muck Rack.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under deadlines.
- Ability to manage event logistics and messaging with confidence.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across different teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced tech or startup environment.
- Multilingual skills.
