What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere. In this role, you will help us build the future of decentralized finance by creating protocols capable of handling billions of dollars in capital. We need a creative, motivated engineer who enjoys navigating large design spaces to find simple and elegant solutions to complex, low-level problems.

What will you do?

• Architect Solana programs using both native Solana models and the Anchor framework.
• Develop code that is safe, secure, and highly performant.
• Create substantial testing infrastructure to ensure all code adheres to defined specifications, while also writing public-facing documentation and test plans.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in systems engineering and a passion for blockchain technology. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in systems programming using Rust, C, or C++.
• Proven experience writing multiple Solana programs using the native model or the Anchor framework.
• A history of working within a small startup environment, ideally with fewer than 50 people.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical problems.
• A background in security or deep knowledge of the DeFi landscape is considered a plus.
• Fluency in English.
