About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a vital part of our Project Management Office, working alongside a highly skilled technical team to deliver a variety of professional services. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of small to medium projects, ensuring that every initiative meets our standards for time, cost, and quality. While you will manage projects independently, you will also receive guidance and support from our senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of customer projects from start to finish, which includes comprehensive planning, delivery, and clear communication.
- Create detailed project plans that define scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring full compliance with our internal governance standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in professional services and IT delivery. We are looking for the following qualifications and skills:
- A strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies, specifically PRINCE2.
- Proven experience in successfully delivering large-scale IT projects valued at £500k or more.
- Confidence in communicating and presenting to stakeholders at all levels, including board-level engagement.
- Practical experience with infrastructure, networking, and general IT project delivery.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other relevant service management frameworks.
- Proficiency using tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, and the MS Office suite.
