We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis in the United States. You will play a vital role in our IT modernization initiatives by overseeing project operations, ensuring clear communication, and maintaining detailed documentation to support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Create project charters, business cases, and comprehensive work breakdown structures.
- Manage the full project execution lifecycle while actively engaging with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, and correspondence through rigorous version control.
- Coordinate resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Partner with the Program Executive to handle workstream intake, forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.
- Conduct quality reviews to ensure all work meets regulatory and policy standards.
- Facilitate daily interactions with our customers and project sponsors.
Must-haves
- At least 7 years of professional experience in project management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing IT-related projects.
- Proven success implementing Agile methodologies in high-technology environments.
- At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects valued at $1M or more with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with agile tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong background in work planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience managing technical requirements, vendor relationships, and service providers.
- Ability to lead both onsite and remote teams effectively.
- Deep understanding of industry-standard System Development Life Cycle methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
