About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager for Data & Analytics to join our IT department on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of data-driven projects, from initial planning to final deployment. You will work closely with our business analytics, data engineering, and data governance teams to ensure that our technical solutions align with our broader organizational goals. This is a mid-level position that requires a blend of IT project management expertise and a strong understanding of data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for data engineering, analytics, and reporting initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and the data team to prioritize project requests and manage day-to-day activities through agile sprints.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to leadership while managing vendor relationships and resource allocation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 to 3 years specifically managing data migration, analytics, or infrastructure projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Professional certifications including PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or DAMA-related credentials.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project.
• A strong grasp of data governance, data architecture, and business intelligence platforms.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.

Location

This position is based in New York, NY. It is a hybrid role, and candidates must reside in the tri-state area to be able to work from our office.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $125,000 USD. In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. We also offer the flexibility of a hybrid work environment to support our team members.
