We are looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team in Pineville, Louisiana. At Beta Engineering, we specialize in providing power delivery solutions for the utility, industrial, and renewable markets. We design and build high-voltage infrastructure like substations and transmission lines, helping our customers create a more sustainable and reliable power grid. As a mid-level professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our project managers by ensuring that all technical documentation, schedules, and contractual communications are handled with precision and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Review and manage comprehensive project documentation, including equipment lists, test reports, drawings, and field records to ensure complete accuracy.
- Utilize scheduling tools to update project timelines and coordinate construction activities while maintaining clear communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Oversee the preparation of subcontractor change orders and secure all necessary project permits to keep our high-voltage projects moving forward efficiently.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though we will consider candidates with an Associate degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant project experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat is required for daily documentation tasks.
- Experience with scheduling software, such as Primavera 6, and a general understanding of high-voltage substations or transmission lines are highly valued.
- You must possess a clean driving record, as the use of company vehicles is a requirement for this on-site role.
