We are Polaroid, an iconic brand operating as a small, passionate team dedicated to changing the world through exceptional products. Our history dates back to 1937, when our founder Edwin Land established a culture of tackling projects that were both deeply meaningful and nearly impossible. After saving instant film from disappearing, we have evolved into a tight-knit group that values innovation and high-quality design. We are currently looking for a Senior Program Manager to join us on a full-time, on-site basis in Taiwan.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional communication by acting as the primary bridge between our internal teams and external engineering partners across Asia and Europe.
- Take full ownership of project planning, which includes developing detailed schedules, managing resource allocation, and hitting strict product cost targets.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables and processes consistently meet our high quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical, engineering, science, design, or business field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical program management, with a PMP certification considered a significant advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
- An intermediate understanding of engineering concepts, such as system device behavior and failure analysis.
- A genuine passion for photography and an interest in the mechanics of camera systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively and communicate across different cultures and disciplines.
