We are Suitsupply, a prominent menswear brand celebrated for our dedication to high-quality tailoring and personalized service. We are currently looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our team in the Netherlands as a Production Manager for our Custom Made division. If you are passionate about garment construction and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, we would love to have you on board.
What you'll be doing
- You will take charge of the full production lifecycle for custom garments, which includes managing fabric call-offs, ensuring quality standards are met, and guaranteeing that every order is delivered on schedule.
- You will lead the team by preparing regular performance reports, monitoring our suppliers, and keeping key stakeholders informed about the status of ongoing projects.
- You will work in tandem with our Custom Made Production Team Lead to mentor and guide three Production Coordinators, while also collaborating with our IT, Operations, and Product Development departments to drive operational excellence.
What you'll bring
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related discipline.
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in production management, ideally within the custom-made apparel sector, and at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- You possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- You are highly skilled in production planning and possess a deep understanding of garment construction and fabric properties.
- You are fluent in English, and your ability to speak Chinese is considered a valuable asset.
- You have a keen eye for detail, a strong aptitude for problem-solving, and an interest in sustainable production practices.
