At Wajer Yachts we craft high-end custom yachts that turn heads from Heeg to Miami, and our engineering team turns bold designs into vessels that set new standards for comfort and performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine designs into detailed 3D and 2D drawings, work instructions, schematics and production overviews for new models and custom projects.
Translate design proposals into practical production data and coordinate with engineers, buyers and foremen to ensure parts arrive on time.
Support production teams on the shop floor, identify opportunities for smarter processes and help create new tools or methods that improve efficiency.
Guide prototype builds in close collaboration with the engineering coordinator, ensuring designs move smoothly from concept to finished yacht.
Stay current with technical developments and apply that knowledge to continuous design improvements that appear on our boats.

Must-haves

Completed MBO-4 or HBO degree in mechanical engineering or maritime technology.
Strong eye for detail, proactive mindset and proven ability to collaborate across departments.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Hands-on experience with Rhino 3D, SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Background in the maritime industry or a production environment.

Benefits

Salary range: €3.200 – €4.200 per month.

27 vacation days plus 6.5 ADV days and vacation allowance.
Commuter reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre.
39-hour work week with early Friday finish at 15:15.
One-year contract including one-month trial period and clear path to extension.
Stable Metalektro collective labour agreement and PME pension fund.
Company-paid KVB 1 & 2 boating licences.
