We are enmacc, the largest over-the-counter trading market venue for energy and environmental commodities in Europe. Today, our network includes over 600 companies and 2,200 professionals who trade power, gas, and emissions allowances. We are looking for a Senior Product Quality Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Germany. You will play a vital role in our DevOps culture by ensuring our platform remains high-performing and reliable as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the approval process for new platform features, ensuring every release meets our high standards for quality and functionality.
- Champion a shift-left approach by collaborating with product managers and engineers during the early design and requirement phases to build quality into the product from the start.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites for UI and API testing, while integrating these tools directly into our CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in quality assurance, supported by a university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- An ISTQB certification and a deep understanding of modern software QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Proficiency in web application fundamentals, including HTTP and REST, along with experience using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset toward adopting new technologies, including AI-powered testing solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive within an Agile and collaborative team environment.
