We are seeking a talented Product Owner to join our Product department at Synapse Analytics, for Doxter specifically.
Doxter is an AI powered OCR solution to extract and process English and Arabic text from images or scanned documents. The engine is trained on an immense dataset making it one of the top Arabic OCR engines in the region.
As the Product Owner, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the vision and strategy for Doxter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and refine the product vision and roadmap.
- Work closely with the development team to prioritize features and enhancements based on business objectives.
- Translate requirements to clear and concise user stories.
- Gather and analyze feedback from users to drive continuous product improvement and enhance user experience
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality features that align with customer needs and expectations
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product growth and differentiation
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Manage and keep track of technical and commercial KPIs.
- Attend business development meetings and product demos.
- Assess external partnership opportunities.
- Bachelor or masters degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product management or product owner role
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of delivering successful products to market
- Experience in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Experience working with Atlassian's Jira and/or any product management tool.
- Basic understanding of machine learning is a plus.
- Experience in EKYC and EKYC is a plus.
