Product Owner at DailyPay

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our team in a remote capacity to lead the roadmap for our critical data exchange and payroll system integrations.

Key outcomes

• Serve as the primary advocate for our users by translating their challenges into effective product solutions within our data exchange infrastructure.
• Act as the subject matter expert for our APIs and data flows, ensuring that connections between internal systems and external partners remain secure, scalable, and high-performing.
• Partner directly with engineering teams to define clear requirements, prioritize integration tasks, and maintain efficient implementation timelines.
• Take ownership of the product roadmap and manage the backlog to ensure continuous improvement of our integration features.
• Facilitate communication between business leaders, engineers, and external partners to align priorities and manage complex project dependencies.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience as a Product Owner, specifically within technical domains such as API development or system integrations.
• A strong grasp of system architecture and data flows, with the ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to utilize SQL to evaluate system performance and uncover opportunities for optimization.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A proven track record of managing complex product backlogs.
• High emotional intelligence and a collaborative approach to solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience working within the fintech or payments sectors.
• Experience collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to enhance product usability.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $167,000 USD. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
