Product Owner at Trader

We are looking for a passionate Product Owner to help us shape the future of automotive retail by bridging the gap between innovative technology and real-world business needs.

Role at a glance

This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Canada. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to guide products from their initial concept through to their full market launch and ongoing life cycle management.

Your impact

• Drive the end-to-end product development process by defining business rules, writing user stories, and establishing clear acceptance criteria to ensure technical requirements align with our strategic goals.
• Lead team ceremonies and manage the product backlog, working closely with development and sales teams to prioritize features that meet customer needs and hit financial targets.
• Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and user feedback to identify new business opportunities and optimize the performance of our existing product suite.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong grasp of both business strategy and technical execution. You should be comfortable communicating complex ideas to diverse stakeholders and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

• Three to five years of experience in product ownership, specifically within SaaS, fintech, or digital marketplaces.
• A solid understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Kanban or SAFe, and proficiency with tools like Jira.
• Exceptional analytical and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong client partnerships.
• Fluency in English and a degree in a related field.
