Product Owner - Cards Transactions at Solaris

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will focus on our card products, processing systems, and management APIs. You will be responsible for setting the product vision and ensuring our card-based offerings align with our broader company goals while working on-site in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear product vision for our card offerings that supports our overall business objectives.
• Partner with our engineering team to manage the end-to-end development, release, and rollout of new card-related features and processes.
• Act as a bridge between business partners, end-customers, card schemes, and third-party providers to negotiate priorities and define the scope of our product features.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner within the card processing industry.
• Strong technical background in payment processing, specifically with direct integrations for Visa and MasterCard.
• Deep understanding of authorization and settlement flows, including familiarity with processor interfaces, relevant file types, and ISO standards.
• Knowledge of industry regulations such as PSD2 and PCI DSS to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
• Proven ability to manage products from initial concept through to final execution.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
• A strong sense of ownership and a commitment to maintaining detailed documentation.

This position is based on-site in Germany.
