The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Product Operations Specialist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will act as a vital fixer, ensuring our digital products run smoothly and efficiently. You will serve as the bridge between our technical teams and our customers, using your tech-savvy nature to solve complex configuration issues and maintain the systems that power our content. This is a unique chance to shape how our audience experiences our digital platforms while collaborating across departments to drive our publishing success.
A day in the life
- You will manage customer issues by investigating technical problems and escalating them to our Product and Tech teams when necessary.
- You will maintain our system configurations and metadata, ensuring our content taxonomy is accurate and our publishing tools are performing at their best.
- You will provide mentorship and training to our support staff while monitoring quality to ensure we are consistently delivering a top-tier experience to our users.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep technical toolkit and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You possess a strong command of English and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where your input directly impacts our publishing throughput. Your background includes:
- Proven experience in problem management and a track record of resolving business-impacting issues.
- Technical proficiency in HTML and CSS, along with the ability to use SQL to perform data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with CMS platforms, Zendesk for customer support, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- A collaborative spirit, with the ability to mentor staff and work effectively with creative and technical stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree or a significant amount of equivalent professional experience.
