About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Operations Manager to join our team on a contractor basis for a 6 to 9 month engagement. In this role, you will work closely with our VP of Product Development to optimize our internal processes and enhance our program management capabilities. You will act as a key partner in streamlining our operations, allowing our leadership team to focus on high-level strategic priorities while ensuring our product initiatives are delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough audit of our current Jira environment to improve workflows, configurations, and reporting, while leveraging the Atlassian suite to boost our program management capabilities.
• Provide hands-on support for critical product initiatives by defining project scopes, managing timelines, tracking progress, and facilitating clear communication across various teams.
• Analyze our existing product development processes to identify bottlenecks and implement practical, efficient solutions that support our growth and agility.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in product or program management and a passion for operational excellence. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, or Product Operations.
• Deep expertise in Jira, including advanced configuration, workflow management, and the use of tools like Advanced Roadmaps.
• A solid understanding of software development lifecycles, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and product teams.
• A technical background is highly valued, as is previous experience working within a fast-paced startup environment.
• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field is preferred.

Location

This position is based in the United States and requires a hybrid work arrangement in the Seattle/Bellevue, Washington area.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this contract role ranges from 166,000 USD to 290,000 USD annually, or 80.00 USD to 140.00 USD per hour, depending on your specific qualifications and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer the following benefit:
