Product Manager at Kickoff

We are Kickoff, an AI-enabled wellness super app and coaching service dedicated to making healthy habit formation accessible to everyone. Our platform brings together exercise, nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness in a single place, delivering daily personalized recommendations through dedicated human coaches. By combining technology with accountability, we help clients build lasting routines and shift toward a more preventive approach to health. We are seeking our first Product Manager to shape the future of this mission-driven product from our Union Square office in New York City.

Key outcomes

• Deliver an exceptional client experience from the first point of contact through ongoing engagement, ensuring every interaction supports life-changing habit formation.
• Increase client retention and drive referrals by creating moments that inspire clients to recommend Kickoff to friends and family.
• Improve conversion rates through a seamless, supportive onboarding process for new clients.
• Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and data-driven investigations to uncover client needs and opportunities for product improvement.
• Define product requirements for both the client-facing and coach-facing applications, collaborating with design and engineering to implement solutions, including the continued development of generative AI features.
• Partner closely with the Founder and CEO to design, test, and refine client programming and journeys tailored to key personas.
• Contribute to overall company strategy as a member of the leadership team.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including the ability to write SQL queries and use analytics and event-tracking tools to guide prioritization and decision-making.
• Previous experience working at a startup, with a demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy and move quickly.
• Well-developed design and user-experience intuition, enabling effective collaboration with designers and clear articulation of user-centered solutions.
• Fluency in English.
• Passion for wellness and a genuine commitment to advancing preventive health outcomes.
• Willingness to work on-site with the team in our Union Square, New York City office.
• Ownership mindset, including readiness to take calculated risks, iterate rapidly, and maintain focus under pressure.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience optimizing conversion funnels.
• Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration.
• Background in consulting at a leading firm.
