At Impossible Cloud, we are on a mission to redefine the internet by building the premier B2B cloud platform in Europe and beyond. Founded by serial entrepreneurs with a track record of building billion-euro tech companies, we are bridging the gap between decentralized infrastructure and mainstream business cloud requirements. Our current offering includes robust cloud object storage, and we are rapidly scaling our suite of products to become a true industry champion. We invite you to join us as we push the boundaries of technological innovation and business strategy.
The role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Germany, where you will play a pivotal role in translating our high-level business requirements into actionable user stories for our engineering team. You will act as a champion for our product, ensuring our vision is clearly documented, prioritized, and executed across diverse stakeholder groups. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who is ready to help us scale our decentralized cloud ecosystem while maintaining the highest standards for security, scalability, and performance.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap by working closely with our founders to address the most pressing challenges faced by our customers.
- Manage the product backlog by defining milestone plans, setting clear priorities, and translating our long-term vision into step-by-step execution plans.
- Collaborate directly with engineering and design teams to create technical specifications, wireframes, and acceptance criteria while ensuring all work is thoroughly documented.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for product strategy. We are looking for candidates who have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Practical knowledge of cloud systems, infrastructure needs like APIs and databases, and proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Proven experience with product design, including the use of wireframing tools and sequence diagrams.
- A solid background in Agile methodologies, OKRs, customer research, Go-To-Market planning, and backlog management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams effectively.
Bonus points if you have experience launching products in cloud marketplaces or the Web3 space, or if you have technical familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Compensation and benefits
We believe in rewarding our team for their contributions to our shared success. Our benefits include:
- A competitive salary package that includes direct participation in our success through an enticing ESOP and token program.
- The opportunity to work in a high-growth environment with established revenue and a unique competitive edge in the industry.
- A hybrid work model that emphasizes in-person collaboration at our Hamburg headquarters, supported by monthly meet-up weeks and team events.
- Access to a fantastic office space with complimentary healthy snacks and a subsidized premium gym membership.
How to apply
If you are an innovative thinker who is passionate about decentralized technology and the future of the cloud, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your CV or a link to your LinkedIn profile through our application form to get started. Our hiring process begins with a kickoff call to discuss your background and expectations, followed by a streamlined series of two to four additional remote or on-site interviews to ensure we move quickly in welcoming new talent to our team.
