Welcome to Second Front Systems. We are a fast-growing, entrepreneurial team operating at the critical intersection of advanced technology and national security. Founded by former U.S. Marines who understand the risks of outdated tech in the field, we are dedicated to helping the government adopt disruptive, commercially proven software. Our signature product, Game Warden, is a managed DevSecOps platform that streamlines how SaaS applications are accredited for government use. We are looking for a motivated Senior Product Manager to join our team and help us scale our impact. Please note that due to the nature of our government contracts, this position requires U.S. citizenship.
What you'll be doing
- Execute product strategy by collaborating with stakeholders to align our development with business goals, conducting market research, and identifying technical requirements alongside our engineering and security teams.
- Manage the product roadmap and backlog by defining technical requirements, creating user stories, wireframes, and prototypes, and prioritizing features to ensure we deliver high-value capabilities on schedule.
- Drive the development process by overseeing agile sprints, maintaining clear communication with cross-functional partners, and tracking performance metrics to make data-driven decisions that improve our product offerings.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in product management and a passion for our mission. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within a B2B SaaS or PaaS environment.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, lean frameworks, and modern product management tools.
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience driving projects from initial concept through to execution in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.
- Fluency in English.
- Bonus points for experience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or the public sector, as well as familiarity with tools like Gitlab, MkDocs, and infrastructure as code.
What you'll get
We are committed to supporting your success both professionally and personally. As a full-time member of our team, you will receive:
- The flexibility to work from anywhere.
- Comprehensive vision and dental insurance.
- A 401(k) plan with a 3% company contribution.
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our growth.
- An annual professional development stipend to help you grow your skills.
