We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team in New York City, where we operate on a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one day working from home.
Key outcomes
- Execute the product roadmap for our electronic trading platform, focusing on user experience, innovation, and market penetration.
- Partner with design and business teams to create new features, while working alongside engineering to develop and test these enhancements.
- Act as a bridge between client-facing teams and engineering to ensure technical and business perspectives are aligned.
- Develop comprehensive specification documents throughout the product lifecycle to guide development efforts.
- Maintain clear communication with developers to ensure they understand deliverables and meet project specifications.
- Gather direct feedback from key clients and partners to integrate into the product development cycle.
- Collaborate with our sales and marketing departments to define go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product adoption.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience within the FinTech sector, ideally with a background in fixed income, leveraged loans, CLOs, or institutional trading.
- A proven track record of managing and developing successful financial technology products.
- A deep understanding of electronic trading landscapes, market structures, regulatory environments, and client requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge decisions effectively.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through their full lifecycle while navigating trade-offs regarding features and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 annually, though actual pay may vary based on your specific skills and experience. In addition to base pay, we provide equity compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
