We are looking for passionate individuals who want to leverage innovation to create real-world impact.
The role
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Commodities tribe on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of data architecture and user experience. You will work in a remote-first capacity, collaborating with a global team to maintain and evolve our core cargo tracking ecosystem. This role is open to candidates based in the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, or Cyprus.
Core responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our cargo tracking algorithms and lead initiatives to enrich and consolidate these data models.
- Oversee the delivery of raw cargo data through web applications, APIs, and distribution pipelines to ensure our users receive the most impactful information possible.
- Collaborate daily with engineers, data scientists, and market analysts to prioritize requirements, validate new ideas through customer feedback, and manage the product backlog using agile methodologies.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong analytical mindset and a passion for data-driven product development. We require the following qualifications:
- Professional fluency in English.
- Proven experience working with PostgreSQL and a solid grasp of database management and pipeline architecture.
- A background in the commodities or shipping industries, or equivalent experience that demonstrates your ability to translate complex data into user-focused products.
- Strong communication skills, allowing you to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and market-facing analysts.
- A rigorous, problem-solving approach to product management.
Bonus points if you have an engineering background, experience with scraping strategies, or at least two years of experience managing B2B data products.
Compensation and benefits
We are committed to supporting our team members wherever they are located. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to contribute to our mission from your home office within our supported European regions.
How to apply
If you are excited about the prospect of shaping the future of global trade intelligence, we want to hear from you. Please submit your application to join our team. We value diverse perspectives and encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single requirement listed, as we believe that varied experiences lead to the most innovative solutions.
