We are looking for a visionary Director of Product Management to join our team in China. At Alluxio, we are building the orchestration layer that connects compute and storage, and we want you to help us define how the world interacts with big data. What you bring
In this full-time, on-site role, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our enterprise offerings while collaborating with our community team to guide the roadmap for our open-source project. You will serve as a key leader, ensuring that our products remain intuitive and powerful for our users. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing the comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for Alluxio.
- Defining critical product KPIs, technical specifications, and detailed requirements to ensure high-quality releases.
- Synthesizing feedback from our customers, community members, and internal stakeholders to drive continuous product improvement.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should have significant experience as a Director of Product, specifically within the big data ecosystem. We value candidates who have successfully led a product from its initial launch through various stages of growth and maturity. You must be a data-driven problem solver who is obsessed with the customer experience and possesses a natural desire to simplify complex distributed systems. Strong leadership skills, the ability to work autonomously, and fluency in English are essential, as you will be working across various departments including engineering, marketing, and sales.
