Appen is a global leader in AI data solutions, leveraging over 25 years of experience to help the world's largest technology companies build and refine innovative artificial intelligence systems. We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our team and lead the strategy and configuration of our workforce management solutions in a fully remote capacity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a product roadmap that aligns our workforce management tools with the evolving needs of our company and clients.
- Manage the hands-on configuration of Salesforce, including the design of custom objects, flows, fields, and permission sets.
- Perform complex data manipulation and analysis using Excel and Salesforce to provide actionable insights.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to define requirements, manage the product backlog, and prioritize features.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure our solutions effectively support operational efficiency and financial goals.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous product improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and lead product meetings to maintain project transparency.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in product management, ideally within financial or professional services sectors.
- Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce configuration and administration.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build pivot tables and utilize macros for data analysis.
- Proven ability to oversee the full product lifecycle from initial concept to ongoing optimization.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certifications.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Background in financial modeling and workforce planning.
- A strong grasp of user-centric design principles for product strategy.
