At Gynger we’re reshaping how technology companies buy and sell by building the first B2B payments and embedded-financing platform purpose-built for the sector. Founded by the co-founder of Braze and backed by PayPal Ventures, Gradient Ventures, and others, we’ve already powered thousands of payments across vendors such as AWS, Google Cloud, Salesforce, and Snowflake. Now we’re looking for a Product Manager who’s ready to shape the core lending and payments experiences that keep our customers and vendors moving forward.
What is this role?
This is a full-time, mid-level Product Manager position based in a hybrid work model out of our New York City headquarters. You’ll report to the Director of Product Management and focus primarily on the lending and payments domain while having the flexibility to contribute to broader SaaS workflows as priorities shift.
What will you do?
- Take complete ownership of Gynger’s lending and payments domain, including underwriting, funding, repayment flows, and vendor-payment experiences, while defining roadmaps, success metrics, and release plans.
- Partner daily with engineering, design, risk, and go-to-market teams to translate customer and risk feedback into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, then ship high-quality features on schedule.
- Instrument analytics, run A/B tests, and embed compliance requirements such as KYC/KYB and fraud controls, while also mentoring junior PMs and supporting cross-platform SaaS initiatives when capacity allows.
What makes you a great fit?
You bring three to five years of product-management experience, including at least two years focused on lending or payments products such as credit decisioning, loan servicing, ACH/rails, card issuing, or embedded finance. You’re comfortable working in a hybrid environment in New York City and fluent in English. Experience with complex SaaS workflow products is a plus, and you thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional settings where data, design, and compliance all matter.
What's in it for you?
We offer equity compensation along with medical, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off. You’ll join a tight-knit team that’s been recognized as a Built In “Best Place to Work” for both 2024 and 2025, and you’ll have the chance to help define how B2B technology purchases are financed for years to come.
