Product Manager at Localcoin

Localcoin is the largest Bitcoin ATM provider in Canada, and we are on a mission to make digital currencies accessible to everyone by integrating them into mainstream retail spaces. Since our founding in 2017, we have expanded our network across Canada and the APAC region, including Australia, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. We are looking for a Product Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our Bitcoin ATM network and supporting financial services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership, engineering, and operations to build and execute our product roadmap.
• Enhance our ATM backend infrastructure to improve transaction processing and overall system performance.
• Oversee third-party integrations with various financial and blockchain services.
• Lead the launch of new coin offerings while balancing user demand with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize SQL and BI tools to analyze performance data and guide product strategy.
• Design and optimize customer-facing interfaces and support tools.
• Work alongside engineering teams to prioritize and deliver reliable product improvements.
• Integrate compliance requirements into our products without sacrificing the user experience.
• Keep stakeholders informed by communicating roadmap updates and project outcomes.

Must-haves

• At least 3 years of experience in product management, ideally within fintech, payments, or regulated financial services.
• A deep understanding of Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and how cryptocurrency transactions function.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks, such as KYC and AML.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools like Tableau or Looker for data analysis.
• Experience managing backend infrastructure, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
• Fluency in English.
