Welcome to WireScreen. We are a Sequoia-backed startup on a mission to make international trade safer and more efficient through our global intelligence platform. Our company was born from a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigation, and our team is composed of talented individuals who have previously helped scale major organizations like Dropbox, Peloton, and Compass. We serve a diverse range of household names in both the public and private sectors, and we are looking for passionate people to join us as we embark on an exciting journey to solve complex global problems.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in the United States. This is a mid-level position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take on significant ownership. As an early product hire, you will work closely with our Head of Product to shape our strategy and execute across various areas of our platform.
What will you do?
- Lead the development of key user-facing features by defining epics, writing specifications, and overseeing the entire implementation process.
- Engage directly with current customers and prospective users to identify core problems and gather insights that will inform our future product roadmap.
- Collaborate with our engineering, research, and go-to-market teams to drive iterative improvements across our UX and data pipelines.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in product management and a desire to build impactful solutions. We value candidates who bring the following:
- At least 3 years of experience in product management, specifically with a track record of shipping features in fluid, high-growth environments.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-engineering stakeholders and the judgment to know when to dive deep into details.
- A strong sense of engineering empathy, ideally supported by previous engineering experience or an educational equivalent.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets within a B2B context.
- Fluency in English and a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.
What's in it for you?
We are committed to supporting our team members as we grow. In addition to a competitive salary range of $145,000 to $185,000, we offer the following benefits:
- Equity compensation to ensure you share in our success.
- A hybrid work environment that balances flexibility with collaborative in-office time.
