Since our founding in 2012, EasyPost has evolved into a YC unicorn dedicated to simplifying the complexities of the shipping industry. We provide the first developer-friendly REST API for shipping, serving a diverse range of clients from small startups to Fortune 500 companies. As the backbone of the global economy, shipping remains a vital sector, and we are committed to pushing technical boundaries to make logistics accessible for everyone. We are currently looking for a Product Manager III to join our rapidly growing team and help us build the future of shipping infrastructure.
Key outcomes
- Develop and promote a unified vision and strategy for both internal and external developer experiences.
- Conduct thorough market assessments to benchmark our offerings and identify strategic opportunities.
- Analyze developer personas to uncover pain points and user needs, translating these insights into clear product requirements.
- Lead product development cycles in collaboration with designers, program managers, and world-class engineering teams.
- Manage cross-functional efforts by identifying shared ownership with partner teams.
- Establish and monitor key metrics to track our progress and ensure project success.
- Enhance developer productivity within our carrier engineering organization.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a background in software engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- Proven success in defining strategies for technical products and managing the full product lifecycle.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a software developer or building products specifically for developer audiences.
- Deep familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and white-label experiences.
- A strong passion for developer tools and a solid understanding of the developer community.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, get-stuff-done attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
