Product Manager, Hardware at BBPOS Limited

What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in either Taiwan or Hong Kong. In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our hardware products, ensuring that our solutions meet the high standards our users expect. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Guiding hardware products through every stage of development, from initial ideation and prototyping to mass production and post-launch maintenance.
• Partnering closely with engineering teams to navigate technical constraints while advocating for user needs and product requirements.
• Defining the strategic direction for our hardware portfolio and overseeing the execution of product updates, maintenance, and end-of-life planning.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a technically adept systems thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments. We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in product management, ideally within consumer electronics or the payments industry. You should have a proven track record of taking products from concept to launch and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and go-to-market strategies. Because we operate across global markets, you must be fluent in both English and Chinese to communicate effectively with our diverse internal teams. A background in electronic engineering or computer science is highly preferred, as is familiarity with industry-standard payment certifications like EMVCo and PCI.
